The Reef Brite TWIN-ARC® metal halide lamp is one of the most exciting developments in aquarium lighting in nearly a decade. Developed for the aquarium industry by world-renowned lighting specialist and luminaire designer, Tullio DellAquila, this innovative metal halide lamp is also one of the most energy-efficient and economical options available.
Utilizing patented Twin Arc technology, the TWIN-ARC is literally two bulbs in one, switching arc tubes each time the lamp is fired to deliver maximum output, color consistency, and energy savings. Available in a variety of color temperatures, it offers the combined benefits of two separate metal halide lamps in a single unit, eliminating the need for multiple ballasts or lighting systems.
Designed to promote maximum growth and color in corals and other invertebrates, the Reef Brite TWIN-ARC is designed to perform better, last longer, and maintain peak output and spectral power distribution better than conventional metal halide bulbs. When replaced annually, it also helps to eliminate light shock to corals and reduces the occurrence of nuisance algae caused by degrading aquarium lamps.
